November 3 this year at the International University named after K.Sh. Toktomamatov (MNU, Jalal-Abad) a grand opening of a new indoor sports complex took place. Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Jalal-Abad region A.T. Syrgabaev, mayor of the city of Jalal-Abad E.A. Ormokov, heads of educational and sports institutions, mass media, incl. head of the Jalal-Abad regional department for youth affairs, physical culture and sports A.K. Kaparov, General Director of the Jalal-Abad Regional Media Center S.A. Abdurasulov. The grand opening began with a parade of sports teams of the university, after which the hosts and guests of the celebration made congratulatory speeches. Then a small concert program was presented. After the official part, demonstration matches of the university sports teams in mini-football and volleyball began. The new indoor sports complex of the MNU has playgrounds for mini football, artificial turf volleyball, comfortable stands for spectators, locker rooms, shower rooms, which indicates good conditions for playing sports, for holding relevant competitions. The complex will be operated by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the sports club “Den Sooluk” (“Health”) of the Moscow National University. The construction of this indoor sports complex began at the end of 2019 and has now been completed, with a total area of 1125 sq.m. It can be said that with the opening of this complex, another good facility has appeared in the sports infrastructure of Jalal-Abad, providing healthy and useful leisure for student youth.
